Shen ShuBin

申樹斌1978年生於山西，畢業於山西大學美術學院，獲學士學位，後獲天津美術學院油畫專業碩士學位。現任教於北京，其繪畫作品獲得了藝術界的廣泛認可，並在國內外舉辦多次藝術展，曾榮獲2005年天津市十大傑出青年藝術獎，入選2015年中國最具才華青年藝術家計劃。除了中國大陸的藝術中心和博物館，他還受邀到法國、意大利、德國、巴西、瑞士和新加坡參加展覽。

申樹斌以致敬世界各地的傑出和鼓舞人心的人物為主題。這些肖像畫是為了向他們的才華，以及為社會帶來的許多貢獻的尊重致敬。從詹姆斯·迪恩的叛逆本性，到調皮張揚的達利，藝術家用大膽生動的色彩和巧妙的動態筆觸巧妙地捕捉到這些人物的身份。

Shen ShuBin, born in Shanxi Province in 1978, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Shanxi University’s College of Fine Arts, and obtained a Master’s degree in Oil Painting from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. Currently teaching at Beijing’s China Youth University for Political Sciences, his paintings have received unparalleled recognition, with exhibitions held in his hometown and Tianjin. One of his outstanding pieces won him the recognition of Tianjin’s Top Ten Outstanding Youths in Arts in 2005 and he was chosen for the 2015 most talented young artist program in China. Aside from mainland China’s Art Center and museums, he has also been invited to France, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Swiss, and Singapore to attend exhibitions.

The artist focuses on prominent and inspirational figures from around the world. These portraits were made as a homage to their many contributions and brilliance they brought to society as well as for the respect the artists had for them. From the rebellious nature of James Dean to the mischievous and flamboyant Dali, the artist uses bold vivid colors and well-executed dynamic strokes to skillfully capture the identities of these figures.
